Problem
You receive the error message "You are not currently authorized to use California State University - Oracle BI Interactive Dashboards. If you would like to use this powerful capability, please contact this site's administrator." when attempting to access the CSU Finance Data Warehouse reporting server that is hosted by the Chancellor's Office. The error message looks like the following:
Resolution
If this is a system that has never been accessed before, ensure that access has been granted for your account.
If this is a system you frequently access, but you occasionally get this error message, this is a known application limitation due to the session timeouts of this application that is hosted at the Chancellor's Office in contrast with the session timeouts for our campus Single Sign On system. The only workaround available is to close your browser completely(not just the tab within the browser), reopen the browser, and attempt to access the CSU Finance Data Warehouse reporting application again. Another workaround to avoid this limitation is to use the "Sign Out" button/link when you are done using the CSU Finance Data Warehouse and closing the browser tab(instead of the browser itself).
