How to submit a request

How do I submit a request on the Stan State Support Portal?

Short directions

  1. Go to
  2. Click on the "Sign In" link on the top right hand corner of the page. This will take you to the Warrior Sign-In page.
  3. Sign in using your university username and password.
  4. Click on the "Submit a Ticket" button under the Quick Links heading. This will take you to a service page with things to consider before submitting a request.
  5. Once you're ready to submit a request, click on the "Submit a Ticket" button.
  6. Fill in the form to the best of your ability (fields with red asterisks are mandatory) and click "Request" at the bottom of the form.

Access Services

You can access the Stan State support portal by going to

Go to the top right-hand corner and click on "Sign In".

This will take you to our Warrior Sign In page. Sign in using your university username and password.

Once you log in, you can either search for keywords in the search box at the top of the page, drill down through our available services, or submit a general support request by using one of the "Quick Links" buttons. For this example, we'll use the "Submit a Ticket" button.

Filling the form

Each service will have a brief description and may have a link to a related knowledge base article so you can choose to solve the issue on your own before contacting the Technology Support Desk. To continue to the form, click on the "Submit a Ticket" button. Keep in mind that other services may have different wording for the button to access the form, but will always have the arrow graphic and will be in the top position.

Fill each field to the best of your ability. Notice that some fields will automatically populate and that the fields with the asterisk are mandatory. Once the form is filled out, click on the "Request" button on the bottom of the form.

After you submit your request, you will receive a confirmation email from with the details of your request.

Checking the status of your request

You can check on the status of your requests in the Support Portal by clicking on "Services" in the top row, then "Ticket Requests" in the second row. You also have the option viewing your previous requests after you submit a new request.

Click on the title of the request you wish to view.

Aside from viewing the specific details of your request, you now have the option to (A) add files to your request at any time, (B) send direct comments in the feed section to the technician working on your request, and (C) cancel your request without having to contact the technician or the Technology Support Desk to do it for you.
