Installing the CMS Cisco Secure Client (formerly AnyConnect VPN)

Before you proceed

If you do not see "Cisco Secure Client - AnyConnect VPN" in the "Apps" section of Company Portal in Windows 10/11 or if you do not have a "Q" drive on your computer, you must request access to the CMS VPN through the Security Access Request Form before a "Q" drive will appear on your computer.  If you have already submitted a Security Access Request form and that request has been completed, but still do not see "Cisco Secure Client - AnyConnect VPN" in the "Apps" section of Company Portal in Windows 10/11 or still do not have the "Q" drive after rebooting your computer, please contact the Technology Support Desk.

Address to connect

Use the address "awsvpn.cmsdc.calstate.edu" without the quotes, to connect to the CMS data center.
