OIT is happy to welcome Erik Copland to the leadership team! Erik is the new Director of Client Services and leads the Desktop Support, Computer Lab, and Technology Support Desk team. He lives in Oakdale with his wife Shelly, and their three kids. Erik grew up in rural Oakdale, and both he and his wife graduated from Stan State. He was employed with Sutter Health in their information systems department at Memorial Medical Center for 21 years. Erik enjoys camping with his family; home remodeling projects; serving at church; and helping on the family almond farm. He is excited to be a part of the University family in joining the OIT team. He hopes to quickly get to know the team members, learning how he can best encourage and assist them in their specific roles and responsibilities. One area Erik will be focusing on within the client services team is looking at areas where we can improve efficiency, in order to provide better service to the staff and students we serve.
