Microsoft Outlook for iOS updates its system requirements to support only the two most recent major versions of iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS
Because Microsoft is phasing out SMS and phone-call MFA, all Warrior email users must have a non-csustan recovery email on their Microsoft account by November 30, 2026, and Microsoft Authenticator is no longer an option for now. OIT will add your preferred personal email automatically and send a follow-up notice with steps to verify or update it, so no action is needed yet if you’ve already added one.
Ahead of Microsoft’s MFA changes, all faculty, staff, and students will see a prompt when signing into Office365 with their Warrior email; click Continue and authenticate with DUO as usual. This only affects Microsoft logins, and DUO on other university pages like MyStanState stays the same.
Stan State’s AI guidelines lets the campus use authorized AI tools for routine work, as long as users verify outputs and protect university data. Personal tools need review once they touch protected data, university systems, or consequential actions. Institutional apps need a sponsoring unit to own them, and OIT support isn’t automatic.

Premium Classrooms have replaced the Distance Learning and ITV classroom equipment. Instructors control the classroom equipment and cameras through the Zoom Room interface. These rooms offer the most flexible combination of in-person and remote learning and instruction.
